those pesky Slashdot moderator points. Months ago I was so excited that after years of faithful Slashdot reading, I finally got mod points. That was then. This is about the 4th or 5th time in the last six months I've had mod points and it's the second time in less than two weeks! So, a word to the wise, be careful what you wish/hope/pray for, it might come true. Anyone wanna buy some mod points? Hehee. (Actually they're not that bad, but trying to find messages that aren't at their mod limit can sometimes be hard, so you end up reading obscure topics you probably wouldn't have otherwise ... maybe that's the point ... maybe they give mod points to fools who actually read and mod those obscure threads.) Anyway, the good part about doin' the mod thing is ya get positive karma every time you mod fairly, so I've got enough in the karma bank now to make a few troll points and still have positive karma. <evil grin>
