Today I am feeling: duplicitous 
Well, all those science fiction stories you've read mighta come true, the Raëlians claim they've cloned the first human baby. I had heard a few months ago they were working on this and had hoped they'd announce it was a boy <grin> but it's not, it's a girl, which means that it might actually be a legit clone, which would be both scary and cool, especially given the uhm ... unusual beliefs of the Raëlians who think that human life was made by beings from another planet (which actually has some scientific backing, it's the seeding theory of how life began on this planet although as far as I know it doesn't involve aliens, it involves asteroids, but who knows.) In any case, it may turn out to be a hoax, but there are supposedly more human clones in the "cooker" due to be born in the next few months. We shall see what becomes of them, I remember hearing once that there's some wacky timer thing in DNA that is passed on to clones, so if you cloned using cells from say a 50 year old person, the DNA would have a timer with 50 years already on it, so even though the baby is born as an infant its DNA is already 50 years old (or thereabouts) so it'll die when the DNA timer "runs out" so the baby may only live 20-30 years. Pretty soon they'll be cloning from babies I guess if these clones don't work out. It all opens some interesting questions for parents though, now when your clone child asks who daddy is you can tell them there is no daddy and not be lying. Men may soon become obsolete muhahahaha. Oh, wait, we'll still need them for fixing the toilet and killing spiders ... at least until they make a robot that can do that.

Today I am feeling: a lack of holiday spirit 
I don't celebrate Christmas, but my family kinda does, well not the "Christ" part or the "mas(s)" part but they do sorta do the let's all get together and annoy the hell outta each other whilst recollecting stories from our childhood where mom tormented us and dad ignored us, and we, greedy bastard children that we were, demanded gifts we neither needed nor deserved. Ah, memories. Hehee. Oh, and there's free food too! Yay! So, happy dysfuntional christmas to everyone! Now, leave me alone while I go spend x-mas eve ignoring the stupid people of the world and being totally selfish!

Fritz Coleman (weatherman for KNBC in LA) looks like an aged Harry Potter with those new glasses of his.
Why do women in America still change their last name to their husband's when they get married? The whole point of the name change dates back to when women were property and the name change signified that the husband now owned the woman instead of her father owning her. No man will ever own me muhahaha.
Mormonism will fuxxor you up for life. All the controlling admonitions from their profit, erm Prophet. The requirement to earn your temple recommend at all costs, even if it involves lying, cheating or bribery. All those terms they use like "unworthy" (as what? a human being?) if you do a no-no, sheesh, no wonder so many Mormons are on Prozac. What would Jesus think? Hehe.
Vomit flavored Bertie Bott's Everyflavor Beans are even more nasty than the sardine ones, but I quite like the dirt flavored ones.
I am tired of kitten-proofing my room every time the cat learns a new "trick".
Why is it that the first day I actually walk a decent distance, SportBrain's phone system goes down so I can't upload my data?
Krispy Kreme doughnuts are *way* too sweet, why do so many people like them so much? They are especially nasty with coffee.
Christmas shopping with your mother should be illegal.
