NONOBADBLOG!

This weekend is a sad one, not as sad of course as recent events in history, but sad nonetheless. This weekend, Lum the Mad goes offline, presumably forever. I have been a fan of this site since July 1999 when I was told about it by the SRC of the shard I was working on as a counselor in UO. It was a great site, one I would have been proud to write for if only I had the ambition to apply. :P

I used to do a rant kinda thing of my own back in the days when I was a naughty cat in the online virtual world WorldsAway. It started out as ranting emails to the developers of the world and I called it Comments from Cosmocat. Then I got a 'job' writing for a WA oriented web newspaper and did it as a semi-weekly column. Ah, the good old days. ::sigh::

Anyway, I always appreciate a good rant, and Lum's site was full of them. I will now have at least 30 minutes of my day to fill with something else, what oh what will I do? :(

I had some free time today so I made a semi-randomly generated webpage

The hardest part was trying to figure out how to format the blasted URLs so they'd pick up the url object from the array. That took me as long as the rest of the page, thanks to the fact I didn't have a reference book on javascript. Thankfully the internet has lots of resources. I need a better random generator though, this one is prone to duplication.
