Books I am reading: Games I am playing: none right now but crossing fingers for WOW beta I'm doing a portrait of Michael Jackson for my illustration class, and the other day my teacher said "Ill bet you won't be hanging THAT one on your wall." Michael Jackson is, we both agree, quite scary. Add to that the fact I have mutated his face even more, and well, it's double-scary. I did a sorta split picture, one side is of him as a cute little (mutant, unintentionally so) boy, the other as a mutant plastic fake-looking mask. Black & White, Good & Evil, Innocent & Corrupt, Natural & Artificial, all kinds of contrasts. By the way, doing portraits in black Prismacolor pencil is hard, looks kinda cool though, but it took me about 15 hours so far, and I've still got some tweaking to do. In other news, I hath contracted the Rotten Apple Disease. In other words, I have become a victim of Apple Computer's marketing department. I have been lusting after an iPod for awhile and the lust has gotten stronger since the iPod minis came out, and then I saw one in a store display, and that was it ... I spent my birthday money for the next 3 years on one, but they had a promo at Apple going on with free engraving and free shipping so I had to get it now. I ordered it and it won't arrive until the end of March, right about the time all their promos expire on March 27, which will probably be the day all the cool new Mac computers come out which is just as well, because this way I am safe from succombing cuz my little iPod will keep me safe from harm. I ordered a blue one, and personalized it with my name and email address in case I lose it. So now, I wait ....
