Monday, November 24, 2003 Today I am feeling: totally free of nasal congestion

James Davis Literature of the Western World Brian Wilkie/James Hurt Games I am playing: no time now I have a new favorite snack to replace my old favorite snack (Flaming Hot Cheetos). My new favorite is Trader Joe's Wasabi Peas, only $1.99/bag. Woot! And even more fun if you stick a couple of them in your mouth and SUCK. Feel The Pain! Muhahaha. I will never again have need of a decongestant. Ever. Again. And they're not too bad calorie-wise either. Hurray! And my cat loves them too! Erm, well, ok, I didn't actually give her any to try, but after her little Cheetos incident, I think she shall stay wasabi-free. Poor thing. In other news, kitty has finally earned the privilege to go outside again, and she's been very well-behaved too. And I just know she's jealous of my peas. Lemme see, what else ... oh, the grocery strike is still going on, only now the Teamsters have joined in the "fight" to keep the Big Three stores from being stocked with Turkey Day treats ... or something. Yeah, ok. Well, I don't care, I've got wasabi peas! I do hope their little extortion plan fails miserably though, and that everyone remembers the disruption they helped cause when it's THEIR turn to strike in a couple years. The longer this strike goes on, the less and less sympathy I have for unions. It almost makes me wanna shop at Wal*Mart. Not quite, but almost. I wonder how much Wal*Mart charges for wasabi peas ....
