The kitten still has no name but she does have a couple of potential names: Sage, because she has sage colored eyes and was born on/near the Fall Equinox so she must be a pagan kitty <g> and sage is an herb used in rituals or something, I dunno, I'm a NONOist not a witch so I don't use herbs, well, except catnip but not for rituals. Anyway it's a fall-ish, equinox-ish, pagan-ish kinda name and I dig pagan stuff even though I'm not technically a pagan, although depending on your definition I might be. Anyway, that's one possible name and it's also gender non-specific since I'm still not sure she's a girl, although I see no evidence to the contrary but she's still kinda little and I've made the mistake of thinking rabbits were girls too till they hit puberty and then finding out otherwise, so I remain open-minded. The other possible name, which will only work if she's a girl, is Terra, which is a nicer more socially acceptable way of saying Unholy Terror, which she is, and it's also a pagan-ish earth-friendly name. This poor little creature may end up here if she's not careful and doesn't outgrow the terror stage though. She is undeniably cute though, so that gives her a lotta leeway but if she keeps up with the "I must hunt your face now" game when she's a year or two old, we may have to go to kitty boot camp or something.

Ok, on to other news. Saddam has accepted the UN agreement thing, well, sorta, he didn't actually *accept* it but he acknowledged it or something. So, that means he's got a couple weeks or something to report on all his non-existent nukes and whatnot before we bomb his country to the moon and back. Oh, joy!

In politics today, the Democrats performed yet another boneheaded move by appointing probably the most left-wing liberal possible person to take the seat of minority leader in the House. Oh, joy. Oh! And the Dems were blaming their own voters for their heavy losses in the elections last week, saying that they (the Dems) were cheated out of an election because not enough Democrats felt the need to vote or something. I swear, the Democratic party is such a reflection of American society it's sickening: Blame anyone but yourself. It couldn't *possibly* be that America actually didn't vote Democratic because the Democrats DON'T STAND FOR WHAT AMERICA WANTS could it? No, it must be some OTHER reason. Hehe. It's actually quite amusing though to see them constantly change their position depending on polls and what not, and screaming like little children when they don't get their way. But I do find it disturbing they skirt laws and try to change them to get their way. God, just think what would happen if the Republicans were as determined as the Democrats are to get elected. We might end up with a Bush as president or something ... erm ... oh wait. Uhm ... yeah k. Hehe. I'm glad I'm not a Democrat or a Republican though. I'd be thoroughly embarassed if I was. I'm registered as a Green though, which is almost as bad as Democratic cuz it's a party of commies and socialists but at least they're honest (most of the time) about who they are and they're not afraid to say what they stand for. I do admit though, that even though I'm registered as a Greenie I rarely vote for Green candidates, I am one of those annoying people who votes issues and positions not parties.

Uhm ... lemme see, what else ... oh! I just thought I'd say that the idea of macaroni & cheese and Spam disgusts me. K ... that's all folks.
