Today I am feeling: gleeful
O M G Everquest can now be played on Linux! <faint> Now, I've been saying for awhile that the only thing keeping me on Windows is lack of a decent online RPG game, well, if Transgaming gets the bugs out, I may have to dump Windows, after all that AC2 beta is probably almost over, I didn't get into the Star Wars Galaxies beta *glares* and ... oh wait, there's that one little beta test I still have to do for that overly addictive "dollhouse" like game. Heh. But after that, maybe I'll switch! BTW, I have never played Everquest, which is very odd seeing as I am a RPG addict and obsessed with elves, but there's a reason, really! At the time Everquest came out, I had a very crappy computer that didn't support the l33+ graphics EQ had and by the time I got a decent computer, I was already subscribed to 3 other online games and had neither the time nor the justification for spending more on online entertainment than on groceries every month, so I didn't join. But now, I don't subscribe to any online games (I dumped AC again, I had only played it about 2 hours in the 6 months since I'd reactivated my account to enable my AC2 beta invite) and I do still play UO but I don't pay for that cuz I have connections. <wink> So, since I'm working now I could probably justify the outrageous $15/mo EQ charges but not quite yet, I gotta wait to see how much Sims Online will cost and all that, cuz I just know I'll like Sims Online, unless the chat sucks and you have to talk like you're in church or something, which will totally destroy my plans for a cat-sitting service. <veg>
