One of my favorite PBS series is repeating this week: The Civil War. This series changed the way I feel about history, I used to absolutely hate it at school, icky, yucky, boring. But this series showed that history doesn't have to be boring, by showing the human side of it, and how it affected people and what caused it. I wish Ken Burns would do a series on medieval history (my favorite period) cuz I'd dig seeing how he'd do it. PBS is cool though, they're re-airing all my favorite stuff, it's weird, like they're reading my puny little twisted mind or something. Next thing ya know they'll repeat Sunday in the Park with George. But I already have it on DVD so I don't really need them to re-air it, in fact it was the first DVD I bought, several years ago and I paid *way* too much for it, oh well.
